As a Crested Butte family photographer, I love photographing families. I have two sons and have always loved kids. My favorite images are the ones of them really having fun and being themselves. Getting married in Crested Butte and looking for a wedding photographer? Well, look no more. As a Crested Butte wedding photographer l will document your day in one of the most amazing and beautiful ways possible. My team and I will work with you and your family to ensure you get those epic images that tell the story of you and your loved one.
You will be working directly with me! Why is that so important? Well, unlike all your other vendors, your wedding photographer is the one person that will literally be with you the entire day, and be part of the planning leading up to your day. So, I think it’s extremely important that the person you hire to document one of the biggest moments in your life, is actually the same person whose work you are looking at and the very same person who you shared all those creative ideas with before your wedding.
Talk to your friends who have been married and one thing is certain, most all wish they had spent more money on their wedding photographer. Why? Because when it’s all said and done, the only thing left to remember your day, will be your wedding photography.
I also think a professional engagement session is important. It allows you to learn how to work with your photographer and just as importantly, as the photographer, how to work with you. I make it fun - including champagne and snacks while driving you around Crested Butte to all the fabulous locations we may not visit on your wedding day. It also gives you diversity with the imagery in your home. You don’t want every picture to be of you in your dress and tuxedo or shot at the same time of year. That is why I include an engagement session in each of my wedding photography collections.

Most photographers have a print studio they have been working with for a long time, who is calibrated to their computer and print high-quality products. I also work with a company that only sells to photography studios offering very unique products that you can not get at Walmart or Shutterfly.

An hour-long session is $195. This is perfect for family, maternity, engagement, elopement and high school senior sessions. I also offer longer sessions for elopements and for the deluxe seniors and engagement sessions. The sessions include my time photographing and editing 100+ images for you to choose from. After your session I will schedule a time for you and your family to come into my NEW home studio and see all your images on the big screen. I will have chocolate and snacks for you to enjoy while I walk you through all our products and help you select your images for your home or office. On average our clients spend $1400 in products to fill their walls, bookshelves and hearts.
The wedding collections start at $3599. Petite wedding photography collections are available for smaller weddings. A la carte options are available as well. The collections include options like a second shooter, beautiful hand-crafted albums, an engagement session, digital files and more! Contact me to chat about your details and find the best collection for you. This is a HUGE decision, and we want you to make sure that we are the best choice for you. We can meet evenings, weekends, and for clients that are out of the area we can meet via Zoom or Facetime as well.

I know being in front of the camera can feel awkward, intimidating or even stressful. Is everyone’s hair ok? What should I do with my arms? What if my kids (or my groom) doesn’t behave? Don’t worry about it and let me take care of everything. I will tell you what to do and/or how to pose. I promise to make your kids (or your groom) laugh at me and get them to relax! We will have a good time and your photos will be beautiful! The best part? When you look back at your images you will remember all the fun we had! And the kids? Well, let them be kids! Kids love to explore and play, especially the younger ones. Sitting still for a family photo? Not so much - and that is ok. Let them run, let them play, let them have fun! They are only little once so let’s capture their unique personality at this stage. I will get great family photos too where everyone looks great, I promise.
