Alex was nervous, Lauren was slow getting ready. She thought they were going to a friends house, Alex and I knew different. He was to walk over a small bridge in the center of town, and in the middle of it, propose with me finding in a snow bank to capture it. He finally got her out of the hotel, she wasn’t sure what the big rush was! When he got down on one knee it all came full circle and she was surprised and overjoyed! After the ring, and the words and the hugs and kisses Lauren asks, “wait, are we still going to your friend’s house?” Alex laughs, points to me as I walk from behind the snow bank and we explain to her we are going to go take some photos before they go to a romantic dinner in town. Despite the rapidly dropping temps and sun, we had a blast roaming around Crested Butte town photographing their love and excitement.
